Toothaches That Can Kill You

Most people have had a toothache at some point in life. Maybe you sought help, or maybe you let it go away on its own. Bet you never thought it might kill you.

It is rare that somebody dies from a toothache. But one man recently did, and some dentists fear there may be more, saying too many people are playing Russian roulette with "toothaches that can kill."

Ninety percent of the population has some kind of dental problem, and the bigger problem is that people don't realize that the mouth is connected to the body.

The problem right now is people don't realize how serious dental infections can be, or they simply don't have the money to get help.

Doctor Coleman and other local dentists have extended some free services, based on need.

Recording artist Bootsy Collins has been busy speaking before hearings and raising awareness about free and affordable dental care agencies and the need for more services to be funded.

On our website, we listed links to where you can go for help - but for most, you need to sign up before you have an emergency.
