PHILADELPHIA - Local Catholic school students continued to protest on Tuesday as their efforts continued to save 49 schools set to close this summer.

Students at three Catholic schools continued to protest as efforts remained to save 49 schools set to close this summer.
The students at West walked out briefly in an effort to show support for the school.
The fallout from the announcement that dozens of schools within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will be closing their doors was ongoing Tuesday.
A rally was also held at Archbishop Prendergast and Monsignor Bonner High Schools in the morning. Students and parents were making an attempt at saving their school from closure.
The two Delaware County high schools were on the list of those recommended for closure.
There were similar scenes at Saint Mark's in Bristol.
