ALLENTOWN - Roads are still blocked off after more than a dozen homes evacuated in Allentown, Pa., because of a giant sinkhole.
Skyfox was over the neighborhood earlier Thursday when a water main break and the sinkhole appeared.
Now, in the middle of the holidays, people around the 300 block of North 10th street have been told they can't come home, and some may never get back in.
Several properties were declared unsafe shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday. That was after water was reported in the basement of one home.
A sinkhole about the length of a car has opened up in the area and Mayor Ed Pawlowski is on the scene.
Police tell Fox 29 they are not sure if the sink hole or water main break happened first.
There was structural damage to some of the homes.
