PHILADELPHIA - A second aide for former state Sen. Vince Fumo has been sentenced but was spared a prison term Thursday.
A federal judge sentenced computer technician Mark Eister to six months of house arrest and four years probation.
Eister was facing up to two years in prison, but the judge and prosecutors agreed he doesn't deserve as much blame as at least one witness who was granted immunity.
Earlier in the week, another computer technician, Leonard Luchko, was sentenced to 30 months for obstructing an FBI investigation. Officials said he destroyed years worth of e-mails for Fumo.
Luchko did not testify at Fumo's trial. He now calls his work for Fumo a lie.
Fumo still faces sentencing in July for his corruption conviction.
