Donald Trump Will Endorse Mitt Romney

Billionaire Donald Trump will endorse Mitt Romney as the GOP's presidential nominee, Fox News has learned.

Trump is expected to make a formal announcement at some point. It will come in Las Vegas at a Trump-owner hotel.

"It's a great thing when you can show that you've been successful and that you've made a lot of money and that you've employed a lot of people," Trump said Monday on Fox News, showing where he was leaning with his endorsement.

Trump flirted with his own presidential candidacy but withdrew when NBC made him chose between his job as the host of "Celebrity Apprentice" and his candidacy.

Trump is one of the highest-paid personalities on TV in addition to being a real estate mogul.

Romney has a wide lead over Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul in the GOP race, and seems headed toward a confrontation with President Barack Obama in the general election this fall.
