Walmart Offering Swine Flu Shots

Combined Death Toll In N.J., Del. Now 46

The swine flu vaccine will be available in select Walmart stores in our area Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The big-box retailer has joined with Mollen Immunization Clinics to help get the vaccine to those that need it.

Health officials say swine flu activity in New Jersey has decreased recently and is now classified as "regional" rather than "widespread." But the state health commissioner said this doesn't mean people should not still get vaccinated.

A total of 40 New Jersey residents have died from swine flu since the outbreak began last spring.

And Delaware has added one more death to its tally.

Public health officials a 56-year-old Kent County woman is the state's sixth death related to swine flu.

Officials said the woman was hospitalized in December and had several underlying health conditions.
