PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Kevin Curtis is out indefinitely after getting knee surgery on Saturday.
Curtis had arthroscopic surgery on his knee Saturday,
Andy Reid said there is chance Curtis will be back this season and the sever-year veteran from Utah will remain on the active roster.
"There wasn't too much in there that they had to work on," Reid said. "They just snipped a few little things in there. It wasn't a major thing."
The move leaves the once receiver-rich Eagles with just four receivers: DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Avant and Reggie Brown.
Former Penn State star Jordan Norwood is on the team's practice squad.
Linebacker Omar Gaither also had successful foot surgery on Saturday. He is out for the season.
Gaither has not yet been put him on injured reserve.
