PHILADELPHIA - A big change in the weekend weather forecast will affect conditions on Sunday night for the Philadelphia Eagles game with the Minnesota Vikings.
The westward shift of a storm front will bring a Nor'easter much closer to Philadelphia than expected.
The result will be game-time temperatures in the 20s with heavy snow and high winds during the game.
Kickoff is at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday night at the Linc.
Fox 29 spoke with Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter on Saturday night and he said it was the NFL's decision to play the game or postpone it.
Nutter did say he expected to declare a snow emergency on Sunday, which would restrict parking in the city.
The Eagles were a 14-point favorite over the Vikings before the weather forecast changed. The line is now at 15 1/2 points.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre also will not likely play against the Eagles.
Favre was knocked out, literally, last week against the Chicago Bears after he made a surprise appearance as a starter for Minnesota.
Joe Webb or Patrick Ramsey would start for Minnesota, who will have powerhouse running back Adrian Peterson as a weapon.
The Eagles will have Winston Justice back at tackle, and Asante Samuel and DeSean Jackson are listed as probable.
Kurt Coleman will start at free safety and Jamar Chaney will play at middle linebacker for Philadelphia.
Chad Hall will be active and return kicks for the Eagles.
