The Philadelphia Eagles have signed tackle Winston Justice to a long-term deal, likely ending Shawn Andrews’ career in Philadelphia.
Justice will get a four-year contract deal.
ESPN.com's Matt Mosley says Justice's deal is worth $18.15 million, including a $6 million signing bonus.
Shawn Andrews had been switched to right tackle in the offseason and then injured his back on the opening day of training camp.
Justice won the job in camp as Andrews and Eagles’ management sparred over the extent of Andrews’ injury and his ability to practice.
Andrews also drew the ire of Eagles fans when did a series of rap videos on You Tube while he was allegedly injured.
Andrews was place on injured reserve early in the regular season.
Stacy Andrews, Shawn’s brother, also plays right guard, but is currently benched behind Nick Cole.
Stacy Andrews signed a big deal with the Eagles but has been a flop.
With the NFL heading into an uncapped 2010 season, it is possible that both brothers won’t be with the Eagles next season.
