Could Donovan McNabb be headed to the Rams? A reputable reporter in St. Louis says the Rams are in an “intense debate” about an Eagles’ trade.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Bryan Burwell says former Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive coach Steve Spagnoulo and Rams’ management are debating about McNabb or Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford as the team’s quarterback in 2010.
“According to more than one well-informed source, the Rams have had intense internal conversations with the Philadelphia Eagles about a trade for Pro Bowler Donovan McNabb,” Burwell said.

The Eagles could get a second-round pick from St. Louis, which would be as good as a first-round pick, given the Rams’ draft position.
The Rams could then pick a defensive lineman like Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy, with their first pick
The Eagles could then sign Kevin Kolb to a long-term contract and then draft two young players with what would essentially be two first-round picks, and use the money saved from McNabb to sign a big-name free agent, like Julius Peppers.
