Lingerie Football Team Holding Tryouts

ASTON, Pa. - With the Soul out of business, Philadelphia gets a new football team.

The Lingerie Football League has introduced the Philadelphia Passion. League and team officials are hosting tryouts for the team Wednesday at TriState Sports in Aston, Pa., which is a change from the originally announced location in Downingtown.

The combine and media day, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be the first glimpse for fans and media at the 2009-2010 Philadelphia Passion.

Pennsylvania or New Jersey based women that want to try out for the Passion need to be between the ages of 18-28 and can send their contact info along with pictures to Talent@LFLUS.com.

Fans will have only two opportunities to catch the Passion at Sovereign Bank Arena this season. The home opener is Nov. 6 against the Miami Caliente, and the squad wraps up its season at home against the Tampa Breeze on Dec. 11.
