Iverson Heading Back To Philly?

Former Sixer Allen Iverson may reportedly be heading back to Philadelphia.

Fox Sports Radio's Stephen Smith reports the Sixers are considering bringing Iverson back. Sources tell Smith a deal could be made by early next week. A Sixers official is quoted as saying "it's being seriously considered,"

Meanwhile, Iverson's former coach Larry Brown is encouraging the All-Star to reconsider retirement. Brown said Friday Iverson "still has a passion to play."

 Iverson was waived by Memphis on November 17th. Brown said that's "a pretty humbling thing."

Smith says Sixers coach Eddie Jordan is on board with bringing Iverson back.
