Report: Sixers Ready To Fire Jordan

PHILADELPHIA - The Sixers played the struggling Pacers on Tuesday night, and guess who won? Yep, Indiana.

Lou Williams was 4-of-14 from the floor, Andre Iguodala, brand and Thaddeus Young combined for 20 points. Enough said. Sixers lose 107-96.

Is the Sixers' poor play about to cost Coach Eddie Jordan his job? There's a new report that he's on his way out.

According to a report in Wednesday's Philadelphia Inquirer , Comcast-Spectacor is ready to fire Jordan at the end of the season and seriously evaluate General Manager Ed Stefanski.

The report says the team considered terminating Jordan earlier this season but was likely deterred by the early season firing of former Flyers coach John Stevens. Comcast-Spectacor owns both teams. Stay tuned.
