Amy Feldman: FBI Can View Webcam Pics

A judge has ruled the FBI can view computer evidence gathered in the Lower Merion Webcam investigation.

Attorney Amy Feldman says "now the fun begins because now what you're looking at is criminal charges." Feldman explained federal investigators are looking into whether federal wiretap laws were broken. The school district admits to capturing 56,000 images from school issued laptops. "This is the reason the IT people were pleading the 5th because they're worried about criminal charges."

Feldman says the FBI decides to investigate a case like this when complaints are issued involving criminal law. She thinks "there may be unwitting violations." But Feldman says she still believes "that no one had the intent to violate the rights of any students or parents."
