So what are the legal ramifications of police using a taser gun?
Attorney Amy Feldman explained "I see a kid who is a little but out of control, waving a towel around, I don't think anybody really thought he was going to be stabbing anyone in the back. I think he was just over exuberant." Feldman believes the 17-year old who ran out during the Monday night Phillies game should simply apologize.
Feldman doesn't think a taser was really necessary because he wasn't a real danger. "And I think had they been a little faster they might have taken him down at the knees. But I think at a certain point fans need to see that you make some mischief you're going to get yourself into trouble." Feldman suspects there are attorneys out there who will contact the teenager saying he has a case against the police department and the Phillies for using excessive force.
On the webcam case, Feldman says she thinks a lot of parents will be disappointed with the investigation results. At previous parent meetings many voiced concerns about lower level district employees being blamed for the scandal. Feldman explained parents want people at the top to take responsibilty. But the report says "we didn't know the IT people were using this technology. And I think that is very disappointing."
