Here's a tasty idea if are looking to cook up something new for Fat Tuesday.
Chef Bill Beck, with Beck's Cajun Café at Reading Terminal Market, stopped by "Good Day" to share his Jambalaya recipe.
Beck begins with green peppers, celery, onions, oil and andouille sausage. Sautee these ingredients and then add some chicken and shrimp and some tomatoes. Beck loves Uncle Bens Rice which is added along with the chicken stock.
The cajun chef uses a combination of 15 spices including basil, oregano, garlic powder, and various dried peppers. The biggest key to this delicious meal is smoked paprika. Cook everything for about 30-minutes in the over at 350-degrees.
