It's just 11-days away until John Anderson's next big ride in the fight against cancer.
In his "Fit To Ride" segment, John learned two new moves to add to his full-body workout.
Scott Lance is with Heart Adventure Fitness. Along with Wellness Expert, Melissa Cassera, Lance explained some quick additions for John's circuit program.
The first is a chest press with an elastic band. Begin by extending the arms forward, then alternating. Then lift one of your feet while pulling the band. This will help strengthen the torso and core.
For the second exercise turn around and pull the band. While pulling add some squats. This will add some cardio to the workout.
Scott Lance also offered to make a $2,000 donation to the cause if John participates in the Heart Awareness Fitness class.
John will ride in the 100-mile Seagull Century ride to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Salisbury, Maryland October 10th.
