Halloween Helpers

If you have some extra Halloween costumes, a local girl is collecting gently used costumes for needy children.

The Halloween Helpers was started by 12-year-old Emma Rose Shapiro of Wynnewood. She told "Good Day" she came up with the idea last year when she was cleaning out her closet and wanted to do something with her old costumes. Her goal for this year is to collect 1,000. Emma will distribute the costumes to children in the Police Athletic League in Norristown.

Emma hopes to reach her goal by October 8th and begin giving away the holiday outfits by October 19th.
