Lynn Gold-Bikin On Gosselins/Balloon Boy

Family law expert Lynn Gold-Bikin said "ignorance of the law is no excuse" for breaking a contract.

Reality dad Jon Gosselin is being sued by T-L-C. The media outlet claims Gosselin had an agreement with them to not make paid appearances on other television shows. Gold-Bikin explained that claiming you don't understand the law is not a valid excuse if you break a contract.

Gold-Bikin also said the Gosselins' divorces proceedings started out private which was much better for the children. Now everything is out in the open. She said "I think a lot of people want a lot of press."

On the "Balloon Boy" story, Gold-Bikin said parents Richard and Mayumi Heene "did not use their children well and that will come out." The Heene's are facing felony charges after telling the media and police they feared their son was in a giant helium balloon that took off from their Colorado yard last week. She said "this reality TV stuff is like a magnet, everyone wants it."
