Early detection is key when it comes to preventing skin problems.
3000 B.C. Spa is introducing the Visia machine to help detect skin problems early.
Kate Brown is an esthetician at 3000 B.C. and demonstrated how Visia works on "Good Day."
"Good Day's" Jenn Frederick had her faced scanned and Brown saw a few trouble spots.
Visia scans the face and is able to detect damage on the surface and below the skin. Brown said it is important to detect problems early, so a treatment plan can be put in place. Visia is able to detect wrinkles, sun spots, texture issues, and pore sizes.
Brown said "it is cheaper to prevent skin problems than correct them." She recommends using antioxidants and good sunscreens to prevent sun damage.
3000 B.C. will be offering free Visia scans July 15, 20, 29. Check out their website for more information.
