South St. Bridge To Reopen This Weekend
The South Street Bridge will reopen this Saturday, one month ahead of schedule.
The city is also proud to report that the project stayed on budget.
The bridge was in terrible shape when it was closed in December of 2008. It was never repaired and was eventually torn down.
The brand new bridge will open to vehicle, pedestrian and bike traffic Saturday night.
