(NewsCore) - President Barack Obama's re-election campaign on Thursday released the 29 songs it will play at rallies, speeches and other events leading up to November, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The 2012 campaign soundtrack features artists ranging from soul singer Aretha Franklin to country star Dierks Bentley and includes just one song by Bruce Springsteen.
At a campaign event last month, the president earned acclaim -- and a ringtone -- by ably belting out a line of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," which is also represented on the playlist.
Other selections include Electric Light Orchestra's upbeat "Mr. Blue Sky," REO Speedwagon's "Roll with the Changes" and songs by indie rock bands Arcade Fire, Wilco and Florence and the Machine.
