MILLSBORO, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say the driver of a taxicab was found dead in his vehicle parked on the shoulder of a road in Millsboro. Authorities identify the body as that of 45-year-old William Toomey of Millsboro. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Attorneys for former Vice President Al Gore are challenging an effort by Al Jazeera America to keep details of a Delaware Chancery Court lawsuit secret. Gore and his Current TV co-founder Joel Hyatt claim in the lawsuit that Al Jazeera is improperly withholding tens of millions of dollars placed in escrow when Al Jazeera bought Current TV for $500 million last year.

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware prosecutors have dropped drug charges against a man accused of dealing heroin following testimony at a court hearing regarding an evidence-tampering and theft scandal at the state's drug testing lab. The charges against 31-year-old Braaheim Reed were dropped yesterday before a judge resumed a hearing that could determine the fate of hundreds of other drug prosecutions in Delaware.

LEWES, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a homeowner was shot at by one of two burglars who were breaking into his car in Lewes. It happened about 4 o'clock yesterday morning.

The homeowner was not hit.
