Caitlin Roth joined the FOX 29 news team in January, 2012.

Prior to coming to Philadelphia, she was a meteorologist and midday news anchor at WOWT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Omaha, NE, for three years.

For a year prior to that, she was an on-air meteorologist for Accuweather, Inc., in State College, PA. She's also worked for "Weather or Not," and CNET in Centre County, PA.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Caitlin grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs.

    Scattered showers and a few strong thunderstorms this evening. Any storms could produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.  Temperatures rise into the 80s before the storms hit.

    Wednesday is shaping up to be drier and nicer than yesterday’s wet and unsettled mess.  Clearing skies will give way to some sunshine and a comfortable day. Winds will be out of the North around 5-10 mph with highs near 80 with low humidity levels. Enjoy!
