Bra, Panty Bandit Suspect Busted By Cops

Police in suburban Philadelphia have arrested a commuter who allegedly stalked a woman and stole all her underwear from her house.

Kornwell Chan of Dresher, Pa., faces numerous charges after police said Chan met a woman on her morning train commute, and tried to befriend her.

When the woman started avoiding Chan, police said he broke into her home while she was on vacation with her family.

When she returned, all of her bras and panties were missing, and photographs in her house were turned upside down.

Police then started surveillance at the Oreland train station, where they noticed Chan making multiple attempts to locate the woman or her car at the train station.

The investigation also revealed that Chan’s phone number showed up nine times on the victim’s home phone records during the days between Christmas and New Years.

On Thursday, police searched of Chan's residence in Dresher. During the search, the police recovered women’s undergarments.

Chan was arraigned on Thursday and his bail was set at $100,000 cash.

The preliminary hearing will be held on January 27.
