An Ocean City boardwalk landmark that has provided pizza to shore-goers for decades will look slightly different on the first of day of the new year.
Mack & Manco’s pizza restaurant will be officially known as Manco & Manco’s on Jan. 1, according to management, who said it was a mutual parting of the partnership behind the original Mack & Manco’s.
Two cousins had opened the restaurant in the 1950s, and eventually operated separate businesses, with the Manco family operating the Ocean City establishment.
Despite the name change becoming official in 2012, the restaurant’s website already reflects a change to simply mancospizza.com, which has a new logo with the new name while keeping “Est. 1956” below it.
