Meanwhile, Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett will get some support from the governors of New Jersey, Minnesota and Mississippi. Governors Chris Christie, Tim Pawlenty and Haley Barbour, respectively, are speaking at a Corbett rally Friday morning at Reading Regional Airport on the topics of more jobs and less taxes.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato pick up an endorsement from the Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity on Friday.
The clergy will also back Democrat Joe Sestak in his U.S. Senate race against Pat Toomey. The official announcement was scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Freedom Theater on North Broad Street.
Down in Delaware, Senate candidate Chris Coons is holding a special event for veterans Friday. He's being joined by Sen. John Kerry and Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden. That's happening at the Allison O'Daniel VFW Post in Newark.
