Dr. Mike Cirigliano looks at the possible injury Michael Vick suffered in the Redksins game.
Based on game footage, Dr. Mike thinks Vick hurt his ribs or his collar bone on the tackle at the goal line.
He also said doctors should know within 20 minutes after they take the MRI on Monday morning what Vick’s injury is.
Dr. Mike also says that the x-rays taken on Sunday may not reveal if Vick has a broken bone or a fracture.
The small, hairline fractures would not show up on an X-ray, he said.
He also said Vick could have cartilage damage , which could take three to six weeks to heal.
The bone has to heal and the pain would hurt greatly in the upper chest area.
