It has already been a tough Spring for people who suffer from allergies.
Experts say one of the reasons is because warm temperatures a few weeks ago triggered many trees to bloom and pollinate at the same time. Most years, trees bloom on staggered schedules.
Dr. Mike explained on "Good Day" some things allergy suffers can do to get some relief. "If you can, you get somebody else to do the grass and you stay indoors and you change the filter in your air conditioner." Dr. Mike says an air purifier can help as well.
Eating hot and spicy foods may help some people because "they increase your secretions and they thin them."
Dr. Mike recommends using a saline spray to rinse your nose every morning and night. "It gets the little pollen particles and allergens out of the nose and decreases the symptoms."
