A new drug has been approved to treat people with so-called spider veins.
Dr. Mike explained the FDA has approved Escalera. Doctors inject the medication into spider veins which damages the lining and makes them disappear. Dr. Mike also discussed a new study about menthol cigarettes. Some research indicates menthol cigarettes may be more addictive than regular cigarettes. The government is planning to conduct its own study.
