DETROIT (WJBK) -

15-year-old Anthony Williams was in court Wednesday.  He had tears in his eyes and a bad attitude.  He was barely tall enough to see over the podium.  He seemed very angry.  The only person that was not mad was the son of the 84-year-old security guard who was killed.

"He seems to be tough, but right now he's scared, and I'm pretty sure he's scared," said Lewis.

Williams is only in the ninth grade and now facing a murder charge.  He made a horrible first impression in court.  Williams tried to refuse to give his fingerprints, which could be another felony if he doesn't comply.

Police believe his accomplice was 18-year-old Alandre Boone, who was also arraigned in 36th District Court on Wednesday.  The two are charged with second-degree murder and felony possession of a firearm in the death of Joseph Lewis, a security guard gunned down in his church parking lot while he was on duty.  It's something his son just can't understand.

"Why did they do it?  What made you do it?  What was your intentions?  My father would have gave them money if they wanted it."

In a news conference Wednesday, police announced Williams will be tried as an adult and that the two teens likely knew the 84-year-old man prosecutors say they killed in cold blood.

The victim's son, who should be full of rage, is instead just full of sorrow.

"You can't blame just a kid.  You've got to blame the parents and the people that [are] around him."
