Light The Night for Leukemia & Lymphoma with FOX 29!

Join FOX 29 at the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walks in the Greater Philadelphia area this fall. The five walks, held in the evening, are part of a series of walks held annually in communities across the United States and Canada.  For more information, click here.

FOX 29 will be out at the Light The Night Walk at Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philadelphia, Saturday, October 27th.  To sign up to be on the FOX 29 team that evening, click here.    The first 50 viewers who sign up and/or make a donation to the FOX 29 team, will get a Good Day coffee mug.

The events are leisurely walks during which participants carry illuminated balloons of varied colors (white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer). Walks attract thousands of participants of all ages and work to build a caring community that can bring light to the dark world of cancer.

Held rain or shine, the walks take less than an hour to complete but having a lasting impact on the fight against cancer. For more information and ways to participate, click here .
