PHILADELPHIA -

A nearby shooting left a bullet hole in the door of a Southwest Philadelphia daycare on Friday. It's amazing no one was hurt.

But what's even more outrageous is that the daycare never called parents.

FOX 29 was the first to tell parents picking up their kids at the Woodland Academy Head Start Daycare about the shooting.

The shooting happened at about 10:30 Friday near the daycare, located on the 5400 block of Grays Ferry Avenue in Kingsessing.

Hours later, parents had no idea.

FOX 29's Sean Tobin had more in this video report about how parents were reacting.
