World's Fastest Cyclists Compete In Philly

PHILADELPHIA -

The world's best cyclists rolled into in Philadelphia on Sunday for the TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship.

Cycling teams zipped down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and through the streets of Manayunk for this year's race.

And while most were racing to the finish line, another cyclist had to be rushed to the hospital. Video sent in to FOX 29 shows a cyclist on the ground from an apparent accident on the parkway.

Crews loaded him on a stretcher and took him to the hospital. We're still waiting to hear how he's doing.

Despite that crash, the race was fast and furious all the way to the end.

You can also see more images from that crash on the parkway. Just head ureport.myfoxphilly.com. You can also upload your images from the race.

And before the pros took off Sunday, locals got to ride the course. Among them was Good Day's  Jennaphr Frederick.

She took part in the Bicycling Magazine Open to raise money for Mommy's Light. Her goal was to complete one lap and make it up the Manayunk wall, which she did. Good job, Jenn!
