Police in North Philadelphia say they shot a man early Tuesday morning after he opened fire on Temple University security officers.
It happened just before 2 a.m. near Ninth and Berks streets.
Police say four Temple security officers were responding to a car accident when a gunman opened fire.
Philadelphia police were able to chase down the suspect. They shot him once in the thigh.
Police do not know why the man opened fire at them.
FOX 29's Steve Keeley had more details Tuesday morning in this video report.
