It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.

Pounding winds and violent surf from Hurricane Sandy left their mark on Ocean City, NJ. Beaches were washed out and there's concern about debris washing up. But Mayor Jay Gillian says no need to worry.
Mayor of Ocean City says no need to worry about debris filled beaches after Hurricane Sandy. He says plans have been taking place to make sure they're safe and clean.

The site for the plant sits on red lion road right where a golf course used to be but so far, no work has been done.

The sign on the front gate says hard hats and safety glasses required, but the next question might be for what? There's nothing going on at the site of what's supposed to be a new $300 million distribution center for Teva Pharmaceuticals and now neighbors say the place needs a clean up.

Mayor Michael Nutter and company officials broke ground on the state of the art center last September. Eight months later not a single piece of construction equipment can be seen on the sprawling site. Instead there's high grass, weeds and lots of chain link fence minus the barbed wire. Some question if the company plans to go ahead with the project.

A spokesperson for the company says a new CEO has just come on board and the $300 million budget for the project now has to go before the board of directors for approval at its next meeting, which is still not scheduled.

Local business owners like the proposed project for it's 2,500 construction jobs and 200-400 permanent jobs , but neighbors who live in these half million dollar and up homes nearby are worried about the impact on their property.

Now a spokesperson for the company says she would alert the company's maintenance personnel to neighbor's complaints about the site's appearance. Meanwhile homeowners are wondering if the distribution center will ever get built. A spokesman for the mayor says he has no comment on the delays in the project at this time. It was supposed to be finished by the middle of 2013.
