Purple Heart Recipient VA Housing Benefits On Hold

He was nearly killed in Afghanistan fighting for our country. After suffering permanent eye damage and receiving both the Purple Heart and an honorable discharge. He says he's being denied important military benefits and now feels like the Uncle Sam has turned his back.
We spoke at length today to Bucks County Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick's office. They've been working on this for months.
We also reached out to the former Congressman Patrick Murphy, who has plenty of military contacts, and reached out to the Veterans Administration.
Bottom line from the VA was that Gunsenhouser's housing voucher has not been rescinded and it is simply on hold.
A VA spokeswoman assures me this case is being "expedited at every level".
