A terrifying story along the main line. Thieves burst into a Delaware County home and tie up a couple and their daughter!
Three people carry guns and force me into my house doctor Jim Cheng didn't want his face on TV, but he didn't hesitate to say how lucky he felt that he, his wife and daughter are still alive after Wednesday night's gunpoint home invasion robbery at his Radnor home.
Cheng spoke to reporters from his dental office in Olney just hours after he was forced inside his mainline home by three masked gunmen. He was bound and gagged along with his wife and daughter. The gun toting bandits ordered him to lie face down and turn over all of his family's money and jewelry.
Cheng's wife and daughter did not want to speak with reporters as they left their Brooklea road home, but neighbors in their Rosemont community were stunned to hear of the armed holdup.
Police say after stealing cash and jewelry from several rooms, the gunmen demanded to know where a safe was located.
The bandits escaped and the family got free and called 911 from a neighbor's home. Robbers were in the house for more than an hour vague descriptions of the masked gunmen.
