There are new details in the Etan Patz murder case after a search of the suspect's home in Maple Shade, N.J.
New York City police searched Pedro Hernandez's home this week, perhaps seeking proof or physical evidence to back up his confession in court to killing the boy who went missing in 1979.
On Friday morning, in a front-page report, The New York Post is citing police sources who say investigators found an old 19-70's toy and worn children's clothing in their search Wednesday of the Maple Shade home.
Investigators plan to test the items for DNA and hope they will serve as evidence.
We should point out that Hernandez has a son, so they could be leftover items of his.
The Post reports that the items have not yet been shown to Etan's mom and dad, who remember what he was wearing the day he disappeared without a trace.

It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
