Two key witnesses testified Tuesday on the second day of the
trial of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.
One was Mike McQueary, the one-time graduate assistant who
says he saw Sandusky in a Penn State shower with a child.
Jurors also heard testimony from alleged "Victim No.
1," one of eight expected to take the stand during the proceeding.
FOX 29's Bruce Gordon was live in Bellefonte, Centre County,
with more on Tuesday's proceedings and what McQueary told the juror.
Meanwhile, Penn State is responding to reports of a possible
cover-up by university officials, including former school president Graham Spanier.
The report claimed emails were exchanged in 2001 between Spanier
and administrators Tim Curley and Gary Schultz that suggested it would not be
humane to Sandusky to report the abuse allegations to police.
Penn State says they handed over emails to investigators,
and that they are cooperating fully with authorities.
Remember, Gordon will tweet updates from Bellefonte
whenever he's allowed to do so. Make sure you're following him on Twitter for
the very latest on Sandusky's trial.
