PHILADELPHIA -
Check out the drug stash and cache of weapons authorities say they found when they made an alleged gang-related arrest in South Philly.
Teens were allegedly found with drugs, firepower, money and a whole lot of motivation driving their violence.
Drugs are a problem, but it's incredible the guns these kids are getting their hands on, and it's scary to think of who the victims will be, FOX 29's Shawnette Wilson reported.
The perpetrators are known juvenile offenders in this area, and law enforcement officials say they're out to get them.
JET – the Juvenile Enforcement Team – is aggressively tracking down juvenile offenders before summer fully kicks in and crime heats up, frightening to neighbors.
The JET unit is a joint effort between family court and juvenile probation. It's backed by Deputy Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel's Gang Task Force.
Jihad Lewis, 18, is one of the suspects arrested in this case at a home on South 22nd Street, where authorities JET officials say they found the guns and drugs.
Lewis was already on juvenile probation.
Here's what was taken got off the streets Monday in detail:
packets of heroin marked "city doctor" worth more than $21,000 on the street;
hundreds of dollars worth of marijuana;
a loaded 9-milimeter semi-automatic handgun, a .38-mm, a loaded .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun and a .25-caliber semi-automatic.
Two people are in custody related to this latest bust. More arrests are expected.
Sadly, people we talked to in the area of 23rd and 24th streets between Morris and Tasker streets in South Philadelphia weren't surprised. Wilson has more reaction in this video report.

It was a soupy start today. We can expect many clouds, some sun, lots of humidity, and a chance of pop up showers any time. At least it'll be warmer: High around 80-degrees today.
The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. Warm temps stick around, too. And we do mean stick...because it'll be humid, too.
By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain. It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
