6-Alarm Fire Rips Through Camden Manufacturing Plant

CAMDEN, N.J. -
Firefighters battled a massive fire at a metal manufacturing plant in Camden overnight. Crews worked all night trying to put out the flames.
The fire reached six alarms before firefighters got it under control at 3 a.m.
The blaze broke out just before 11 p.m. Monday at the Magnetic Metals Plant at 21st and Hayes.
FOX 29's Stephanie Esposito reported from the scene that there were no reports of injuries to firefighters or civilians, but two city blocks in the Cramer Hill neighborhood were evacuated during the blaze.
Magnetic Metals, the last active manufacturing plant in Camden, has 76 employees at the plant.
