Philly Police Video: Suspect Wanted for Multiple Robberies In Mt Airy

The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance video which captures the suspect responsible for multiple robberies between May 15, 2012, and June 18, 2012.

On May 16 and May 18, the unknown male entered a store on Wadsworth Avenue.  His May 16th attempt to take money was unsuccessful, however, on May 18th, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money.  He took an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.

On June 13, a woman was walking near Mt. Pleasant Avenue and Williams Street when the suspect approached her.  He pointed a handgun and took the complainants purse. The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is a black male, 5'10" to 6'2", thin build, medium complexion, short hair.

This suspect is armed and dangerous.   If you see him, do not approach him.  Call 911.
