Police Investigate Damage to Disabled Vehicles

Delaware State Police are investigating numerous incidents in which disabled vehicles along the I-95 and I-495 corridor to Delaware Rt 141 in Newport were damaged.

Nine incidents took place between Wednesday June 6th and Monday June 18th in which the vehicles had broken glass and bullet holes in the bodies of the vehicles.

Police believe a shotgun and a handgun were used from the evidence collected. The investigation began after an increase of reported damage to cars that were disabled along I-95 and I-495. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
