Red Cross Seeking Blood Donors

The American Red Cross says it is facing a shortage of blood donations this summer.

Officials say the busy summer travel season comes with a need for more blood, as there tends to be more accidents this time of year. However, they say fewer people are coming to donate.

They say there is a critical need for O-Negative, A-Negative and B-Negative blood types, as they are the most in demand.
