Coach Charged With Providing Alcohol To Student - Philadelphia News, Weather and Sports from WTXF FOX 29

A Montgomery County high school girl's cross-country coach is in trouble with the law.

William Ryan Lichtner, 24, is charged with providing alcohol to a 17-year-old student at Hatboro-Horsham Senior High School.

The district said they did background checks which showed no criminal background.

In a statement, the superintendent said, in part, "I was troubled by the actions of this adult and disheartened by this incident."
