Jerry Sandusky's fate is now in the hands of the jury. But as deliberations got under way, the former Penn State assistant football coach's adopted son dropped a bombshell.
Matt Sandusky says he was molested as a child. He went to prosecutors with those claims this week. Now, numerous media outlets are reporting his father didn't testify in his own defense because Matt would have testified against him.
Also, as the jury deliberates, a new accuser has come forward to claim he was assaulted by Sandusky.
Travis Weaver, 30, charges in a lawsuit that Sandusky sexually abused him more than 100 times, starting when he was just 10 years old. Weaver appeared on NBC's "Rock Center" on Thursday night to describe his experience.
When jurors to continue deliberating Friday, they'll first review two hours of testimony from Mike McQueary. He's the graduate assistant who testified to seeing Sandusky with a boy in a campus shower in 2001.
They'll compare it with the testimony of a McQueary family friend, who said McQueary gave him a different account of what he saw.
During closing arguments, Sandusky was portrayed as a mentor to young kids and a predator who preyed on vulnerable youngsters.
An attorney for one of the alleged victims says the defense's argument just didn't add up.
"The fact that somehow a group of prosecutors, police, media and plaintiffs' attorneys got together to try to bring Mr. Sandusky down at different times, different places, different locations, that doesn't have a ring of credibility," attorney Tom Kline said.
The jury is being sequestered while they deliberate.
If convicted, Sandusky could spend the rest of his life in prison.
Former Penn State defensive coach Jerry Sandusky was on campus as recently as week ago working out, just before he was charged with 40 child-abuse counts.
