RIVERSIDE, N.J. -

Neighbors jumped in to help an elderly woman when her house went up in flames in Burlington County, New Jersey.

The fire broke out Sunday night on the 800 block of Chester Avenue in Riverside Township.

That's when the homeowner got trapped inside.

"We were out front just waiting for the EMTs and the police to arrive. Everyone just stopped and saw all of the commotion going on trying to get her out," neighbor Duanne Dagostin said.

Firefighters were able to rescue her. She's in the hospital with burns but she's expected to be OK.
