Search For Animal Abuser That Burned A Dog To Death

Posted: Updated:

There is evidence that an animal abuser is on the loose. Authorities are trying to find the people responsible for burning this pup.

The burns covering most of this one year old Pitbull's body will instantly make you cringe.

But whoever did this to Chloe has no remorse. Investigators and veterinarians with the SPCA say some sick, cruel person, likely a group of people, intentionally doused Chloe with some kind of accelerant and set her on fire.

A call to city animal control officers led them here to the 700 block of Gray Street in Germantown where they found Chloe. They don't know why she was there or how she got there. Officers tracked down her owner, who doesn't live where officers found her.

Vets here treated Chloe before sending her off to a facility that can better treat her. But tonight Fox 29 has learned that Chloe has died.
