South Jersey Town Has Turkey Troubles

Posted: Updated:
HAINESPORT, N.J. -

Wild turkeys are making life hard for people in Burlington County.

The turkeys are roaming the streets and lawns of Hainesport, and residents say they are getting more aggressive.

So, we sent FOX 29's Claudia Gomez to track them down.

Township officials say they plan to round up the birds and relocate them, but they have to wait until the fall.

In the meantime, they plan to fine anyone caught feeding the birds $2,000.
